Birthday Trip To London

It was my 17th Birthday on the 19th of April! I went to London with my boyfriend and I can actually say it was the two best days of my life; I was spoilt rotten and treated like a princess, I think every girl deserves to feel like that on their Birthday!

We stayed at Crowne Plaza in London-Kings Cross in a beautiful hotel room! It was so cosy and luxury, perfect for our one night stay. The room had such a fresh feel, everything was so clean. One thing I personally loved was that on the back of the door was a card where you pick what you would like for breakfast and they will bring it to your room in the morning. We felt like royalty as we ticked lots of good food and the magic of it arriving in the morning was lush! The hotel has a gym, pool and sauna etc which we used and loved, it was so classy and a nice thing to do on the morning of my birthday. We came to the hotel on the 18th and stayed till the 19th and I can honestly say waking up on my birthday to a lovely room and luxury breakfast was amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful, making our stay the best it could be!

We went and explored London by foot which really was a money saver and I do really recommend it, although our feet did hurt after, it was a good feeling as we saw some beautiful sights!  Everything is so near to each other. I love London so exploring it on foot was fun.

We visited Covent Gardens which was beautiful and such a luxury place, unfortunately, we were only window shopping but looking in Chanel, Dior and Burberry was so much fun despite the look on my boyfriends face as I was dragging him around but he said he was fine with it haha. I’m always a girl who loves lunches, dinners and any type of snack out; I find it fun and although my bank account can’t always keep up with my eating out lifestyle I find a way lol. Pret a Manger is a lovely place for lunch; I recommend their toasties… yummy!

London is such a wonderful place it has an energy that I haven’t found anywhere else, the buzz, excitement is unreal! Walking around South Bank was lovely; luckily we had a nice sunny day which topped everything off! The views are beautiful; looking over the River Thames and seeing all the boats lit up and then looking up and seeing Big Ben and the London Eye was magical. One thing that we didn’t do that we definitely are going to do when we go back is going on the London Eye, we didn’t book tickets so it was very busy and long to wait but it was still nice to look at.

We finished the day off with a lovely meal at an Italian restaurant that we can’t actually remember the name of.. lol. However, it was very classy and a perfect way to end the day. We had pizza which if you know me then that won’t come to a surprise haha. The pizza was insanely good to the point where you feel you have a little food baby because you have eaten so much but it was worth it! Then we had a nice stroll back to the hotel where we had a couple of drinks and watched ’13 Reasons Why’ which is my new obsession!

The morning of my birthday was so relaxing; breakfast in bed while opening presents from my loved ones and having my best friend/lover beside me made me feel the happiest and luckiest girl in the world! After a slow start we made our way down to the pool but having a boyfriend who loves the gym we had a quick stop in there and again if you know me exercising is not one of my favourite things especially on my birthday but I actually enjoyed it…SHOCK! I’m not sure if it was the fact that it was my birthday or that I was doing it with the person I love. I do want to get fitter so why not start on my birthday and having a boyfriend who knows everything to do with fitness is perfect… I have my own personal trainer for free yay! After about an hour we jumped into the pool which was lovely; I love swimming so this really was one of my favourite things to do! The Jacuzzi was to die for, I literally could have spent my life in there haha. After like 12 hours in the Jacuzzi we went into the sauna and holy cow it was hot but it was still nice but sweating buckets haha TMI… maybe.

I honestly didn’t want to leave I had the best time with the best person! This memory will live with me forever and on days when I’m down I will look back and smile because it is always about the little moments in life and the adventures that turn into great stories! I’m so grateful that I have amazing people in my life and that I am able to do amazing things like this!

I hope everyone had a great Easter and it was filled with lots of love and laughter and may it continue!
