We are finally in autumn and I’m loving it! it’s my favourite time of the year because we have ‘Halloween’, ‘Bonfire night’ and ‘Christmas’!! I also love the fashion and the cosy vibes; it’s just amazing!
I have had some amazing weekends and day trips with my fav people celebrating the start of Autumn! We went pumpkin picking which for starters is the most autumnal thing you can do lol. It was so good and I highly recommend it especially if you have little ones. We took my little cousin who absolutely loved it. We picked 2 pumpkins which are currently outside my door looking very festive! Another thing that you just have to do at this time of year is going to a garden centre, drink hot chocolate and look around at all of the pretty things that you just don’t find anywhere else. Also, the Christmas decorations are out and some may say it’s a little too early but honestly I am so excited!
Going to the theatre is something I personally love; it’s so exciting and it’s a special event that I like to dress up nicely for. I think there is something really special about seeing live theatre and I’m not just saying that because I would love to be on stage one day. I think the concept of everyone coming together to watch a play or musical is quite magical and traditional. I went to see ‘The Lady From The Sea’ at the ‘Donmar’ theatre in London with my boyfriend. It was fantastic! The acting was just outstanding, honest and realistic. It was so gripping; there is something about being up close and personal with an actor that touches me. I loved the ‘Donmar’ theatre, it’s so personal and I like that. We also went to see ‘Blood Brothers’ at the ‘De Montfort Hall’ and that was incredible. The two productions were very different but equally amazing in their own ways! The acting, singing and dancing were outstanding and the ability the actors have to change their characters emotions quickly while playing different ages was admiring! ‘Blood Brothers’ is so emotional and the emotion was portrayed so well! If you’re not familiar with the musical then I highly recommend that you check it out as it’s for everyone. Even if your not that into theatre this production is a must see! Just trust me lol. It has humour, drama and romance so something for everyone!
This time of the year is such a family and friends time where you should go out and make lots of memories! I’m a real memory lover; I capture that in the photos that I take. Life is short to do anything but have a good time. I went to the cinema with my boyfriend and went to cute cafes; it’s that quality time that really matters! Life is stressful for anyone and sometimes you just have to take a step back and just enjoy the little things! Some of us are making big decisions about what we are going to do with the rest of our life’s and it’s overwhelming! Just take it at your own pace and I know that’s hard when you have so many people’s opinions in your ear but the only one that really matters is yours. Take advice, take every opportunity and listen. Don’t rush or be pushed into anything. Do your research and find out things for yourself. You are still young and so what if you don’t get the place on the course you wanted; try again next year. Go and get some life experience and live. Don’t spend your youth worrying about the future just take it step by step and follow what you love! Once you follow what you love eventually you will be living your dreams. So for now just let life do its thing and go with it.
Lots of love and happiness
Alice xo
