Trip To Brighton…

I think everyone has to experience Brighton once or twice in their life because it’s just one of those places you have to go to. I went the other week with my boyfriend for a couple of nights and let me tell you the hype around Brighton is well deserved and didn’t disappoint.

We took the train which was about 3 hours from Leicester but I had good company so I didn’t mind 🙂 It went pretty fast and no delays which are always a bonus! There is just a vibe when you arrive in Brighton it’s so upbeat and the sound of the seagulls excited me and scared me lol! We did get attacked by seagulls but we brought food on the beach so kinda expected lol! It’s very windy but this again is expected as we are near the sea; I didn’t mind it but my hair, on the other hand, wasn’t a big fan so I had to tie it up for most the trip but that was okay. #girlproblems#messyhair am I right, ladies! LOL

I think my favourite thing in Brighton was the ‘British Airways i360’ this was amazing! I highly recommend going on this as the views are incredible! If you’re not familiar with what this is, basically, it’s a big pod that lots of people can go in and travels up 138 metres where you can see 360 views across Brighton. I also loved how there was a bar in the pod, it made it feel very luxurious. I would definitely go on it again! The pictures that I have got are amazing; Brighton is truly beautiful!

The food in Brighton was to die for! Lots of lovely little places to eat which were so cute and instagramble and we all know I love a good insta pic! Really reasonable prices and great options! Very impressed!  I know people say it’s the place for bloggers to be and I felt I lived my dream for a bit! However, I think I will have to keep saving if I want to live there!

Brighton Pier was just so exciting! However, I was a little sad as most of the rides I wanted to go on were closed because of the weather but as I said to my BF it’s just another excuse to come back so we weren’t so sad. We spent a lot of time in the arcade which we both felt our inner child come out and tbh I’m not ashamed lol! It was so much fun and to experience it with my favourite person was just a dream! My guilty pleasure game was definitely ‘The Walking Dead’ I mean I’m not a religious watcher but I think my BF was happy I really liked that one. Of course, you have to do the 2p slot games although I’m really crap at them so that was short-lived lol.

We went to ‘The Lanes’ which was so pretty and super cute; it was right up my street. So many lovely little shops which to my BFs dismay I kept dragging him in and out. Now last but no means least I had to go and get some ‘Dum Dum Doughnuts’ I mean it would be rude to go all the way to Brighton and not pick some up. They were divine! I would literally just go back for the doughnuts lol!

So that was my epic trip to, Brighton, and I will be back as I do really miss it! I 100% recommend going as it’s the place to be. So much to do and look at its honestly one of my favourite places!

Thank you Brighton for having us; we can not wait to come back!
